Coach’s Library
Unfortunately for UK coaches, finding basketball coaching books is a lot more difficult that just walking down to your local WH Smith and checking out the sports section. In the US however, the story is different. Every time I travel to America I make an effort to get to a couple of decent bookstores. Barnes and Noble and Borders (dead in the UK but very much alive across the pond) both have great sports sections with a wealth of basketball books, covering both coaching and biographical subjects. Listed below are the books I’ve bought when visiting the US, as well as those I’ve managed to find on Amazon or picked up second-hand. The list is always expanding and I hope to begin adding short reviews for each one.
